  • Dancer Jiajia Li steps off the bus and takes the opportunity to do some stretching in the parking lot (she didn't even warm up before doing this!).

  • Meanwhile, cactus-like Principal Dancer Chelsea Cai becomes one with the Arizona landscape.
  • Performers check out how frozen Clear Lake is while stopping for lunch on their way from Minnesota to Nebraska.

  • Some dancers give rock climbing a try, with great success. Turns out their ability to do splits in every direction helps them stay close to the wall and reach faraway holds with their feet.
  • Diligent dancers get up for a 5 a.m. stretching session before boarding the bus for a 13-hour drive to Winnipeg, Canada.

  • While in Philadelphia for 20 performances at the Merriam Theater, performers explore the downtown. The City Hall building (straight ahead) is the tallest masonry structure in the world without a steel frame.
  • Shen Yun arrives in Auckland, New Zealand, where the Lord of the Rings movies (set in Middle Earth) were filmed.

  • Auckland, the country's most populace city, is built on 50 dormant (phew!) volcanoes.
